First OB Appt Friday

I have my first OB appt on Friday. I have a list of questions written down to ask her but I don't have as many as I would think I should have. Do you have any suggestions of really important questions I should ask?

I think next week will be my last appt with my fertility doctor. I would like to do something nice for the office. I was thinking about cards for my favorite ladies and then maybe an edible arrangement for the entire office. Did any of you do anything for your last appt with the doctor? If so any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

  1. I know where I live all the OB's sign their twin mommies off on disability at 29 or 30 weeks. But I live in Canada and we have Employment Insurance, so any employee (unless they're self employed) is eligible for disability leave. And this is seperate from the year of maternity leave.

I would ask if they have a policy that you get signed out of work by a certain point in your pregnancy. Because it's going to get to the point that you just can't handle going to work anymore. Growing one baby - nevermind TWO - is hard enough work on it's own!! :)

  2. Since I am a Jinx type of person I have not done anything for the office who did our IVF....It just didnt feel right at the time but like you I will do something once the baby is here and bring him in to show him off to everyone and bring in goodies:)))

As far as questions at this stage I didnt have very many but Im sure carrying multiples is a whole new ballpark but hopefully they will be very informative:))))
